Like only a few cities in Germany, Quedlinburg still has its medieval structure consisting of the Royal City, the Old Town and the New Town (built in the 13th century) as well as the Muenzenberg, the ruins of a Romanesque Convent.
Therefore the inner city was added as a Monument to the World Heritage list of UNESCO.

This gallery has one of the world's most important collections of prints as well as numerous watercolours and drawings by the Bauhaus artist Lyonel Feiniger (1871 - 1956).

| This fully restored castle has to offer throughout the year many interesting events, such as falconry demonstrations, concerts and a medieval castle festival. Several original documents of the "Sachsenspiegel", the oldest written law in Germany, are on display in the castle.

| Ruebelaender Tropfsteinhöhlen (limestone caves) |

The Baumann cave and Hermann cave are just steps apart. In the caves are many stalactites and stalagmites attractions such as Goethe hall, palm grotto and the skeleton of the cave bear.
In summer there are concerts held in the caves.

| Quedlinburger Dixieland and Swing days |

| Every last weekend in June Dixieland and swing days are organized in Quedlinburg. It is held in the cattle yard, in historic buildings and idyllic farms, where selected jazz formations are playing.
One of the special attractions is the Dixie-Train to Silberhuette (village) and back to Quedlinburg (early booking required).
